About Us
My name is Cheer, founder of Gallivant Style — a travel-inspired boutique for women who love fashion, great food, and global exploration. I’ve been an avid traveler and epicurean my entire life, and if you ask my mom, she’ll tell you I was practically born with a passport in my hand. From a young age, I dreamed of working in the fashion and entertainment industry, inspired by icons like Tyra Banks and the glamour of America’s Next Top Model. Acting and modeling fueled my teenage years, but after high school I followed a more traditional path and earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
After years of working in the financial industry, I experienced what I like to call a quarter-life awakening. I realized that I wasn’t living life on my own terms, and the thing that consistently brought me joy was travel. In 2019, my life changed when I unexpectedly became a flight attendant — a role that allowed me to explore the world, rediscover my passions, and develop a deeper appreciation for culture, style, and global cuisine.
During downtime on a flight at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, an old dream resurfaced: owning a fashion boutique. I immediately began researching, planning, and taking action. From there, Gallivant Style was born — a brand designed for women like me: travelers, pleasure-seekers, food lovers, and style enthusiasts.

Gallivant Style was created with a clear mission — to make women feel beautiful, confident, and effortlessly stylish wherever they go. As a Black woman business owner, representation matters to me. I know the importance of seeing yourself reflected in fashion, and I strive to bring diversity, visibility, and inclusivity to this industry.
While our boutique is inclusive of all body types, one of my personal missions is solving the challenge of finding stylish clothing for tall and curvy women. As someone with a shorter torso and naturally wider hips, finding clothes that fit well and flatter my shape was always a struggle. Gallivant Style creates and curates pieces that deliver comfort, confidence, and effortless style — whether you’re boarding a plane, dining oceanside, or exploring new cities.
